How

Eat Well Tasmania used the What’s In Season campaign to connect healthy eating with local food production and school learning. The campaign made seasonal Tasmanian produce easier to find, cook and enjoy, while highlighting the work of Carl Saunders, Fiona Makowski of Freshfield Grove and Austin’s Ferry Primary School Grade 6 students Ebony Nugent, Josh Russell and Zoe Alexander in the Government House vegie patch. It also explained how seasonal purchasing can support food producers’ jobs and livelihoods.
