George Town Neighbourhood House shared a weekly program linking residents with legal assistance, job agencies, Centrelink, recovery support, housing help, fitness, food programs, children’s learning, recreation and a community market. The schedule also included bingo, a barbecue, Footy Fest and after-school activities. By bringing diverse services and social opportunities together, the Neighbourhood House helps residents find practical support, build relationships and participate locally.
