How

George Town Neighbourhood House shared a broad weekly program linking residents with services, activities and social connection. The schedule included employment agencies, Women’s Legal, Aqua Access, a low-cost shop, legal and mental-health support, bingo, Housing Connect, vegetable bags, Children’s University, a pet-food pantry, Crafternoon, cooking, a community barbecue and Footy Fest. By bringing these diverse supports and activities together, the House helped people access practical assistance, learning, recreation and community participation in one welcoming place.
