How

George Town Neighbourhood House shared a weekly schedule combining practical support, information and social activities. The program included the $1 Shop, Head to Health, Maxima, women’s legal support, a Centrelink drop-in, the Neb Hub, a giving-tree deadline, Christmas craft, family bingo, Yemaya, Housing Connect, veggie bags, Children’s University, RFDS adult mental health, a volunteer and member Christmas party, CVGT, bingo and a Friday BBQ. Promoting these varied services helped residents find support, food, learning and connection in one community setting. The schedule is shown in the accompanying images.
