The Neighbourhood House organised an Ugly Sweater Christmas Parade float and invited everyone to take part. Residents could bring a decorated, unusual or homemade sweater, or use a jumper or vest supplied for decoration, making participation possible with whatever they had available. The activity encouraged volunteering, creativity and shared festive pride at the local parade. The post included a promotional event image.
