Epilepsy Tasmania brought Tasmanian lived experience into the national Senate Inquiry into Epilepsy, encouraging people with epilepsy, families, carers and health professionals to share what daily life is really like. Their advocacy highlighted gaps in diagnosis, services, NDIS access, medication and the cost of care, helping ensure local voices inform stronger policy and support.
