Eat Well Tasmania brought attention to Sparrow Foot Farm and its growers, Ines and David, while they harvested Rosa Bianca eggplants. By explaining that this sweet, fleshy and less bitter variety can be enjoyed at home and directing people to simple recipes, the contribution helped households feel more confident preparing an unfamiliar seasonal vegetable. It also connected eaters with the work of local producers and encouraged greater appreciation and use of Tasmanian-grown food.
