How

Eat Well Tasmania highlighted how The Low Cost Store in Sorell helps local people stretch limited budgets. Each Wednesday, around 50 contributors and volunteers make groceries, pantry staples, dairy, meat and prepared meals available at significantly reduced prices. Through its conversation with Kristian from the Sorell Community Network, the contribution made the initiative’s practical food-security impact visible and recognised the community effort behind a more affordable source of nourishment for Sorell and surrounding areas.
