Eat Well Tasmania helped extend public awareness of Tasmania’s cherry season by speaking with Morgan at Somercotes Cherries in Ross about the later harvest. Sharing that local cherries would remain available for at least two more weeks, and inviting people to identify farm gates and shops for the producers map, the contribution connected households with growers and made it easier to buy seasonal fruit directly or locally.
