While the team attended the Neighbourhood Houses Tasmania Conference, George Town Neighbourhood House advised the community about reduced staffing and clearly outlined what would continue and what would pause. Service-provider appointments, bingo, the Friday sausage sizzle and Wednesday veggie pick-up remained available, while several education, youth and support activities took a short break. The update helped residents plan around changes and maintain access to key services.
