Eat Well Tasmania used Plate With A Mate Month to encourage workplaces, community groups, sporting clubs and schools to make time for shared meals. The program’s lunch with Blueline Laundry showed how healthy local seasonal food can create opportunities for people to check in with one another, build relationships and strengthen community connection, with registration resources available for groups wanting to host their own event.
