Eat Well Tasmania developed Plate With A Mate workshops to give community groups a practical setting for sharing healthy local seasonal food and building connection. The first workshop, supported by Community Bank Huon Valley, was hosted by Reba Sear and brought together members of Huon Valley Netball Association and Huon Valley PCYC. Participants could exchange food knowledge and skills while experiencing the social value of eating together.
