George Town Neighbourhood House closed its permanent op-shop after a final half-price sale, explaining that the need for additional space outweighed the benefit of continued regular trading. The House planned monthly pop-up op-shops instead, preserving a way for residents to access affordable goods and for donations to be reused. The accompanying image supports the closure announcement.
