George Town Neighbourhood House promoted its monthly Great Giveaway, inviting residents to attend from 9am and explaining the afternoon pack-up arrangements. The event gives people access to useful goods at no cost or low cost, while creating a regular point of community connection. Consistent sharing of donated resources supports household resilience and helps prevent usable items from going to waste. The post included a giveaway image.
