Epilepsy Tasmania supported a single mother after her first seizure, which had occurred in front of her children. Nurse Emma demonstrated LifeMinder, a device that detects a fall from a tonic-clonic seizure and alerts nominated contacts. The support helped the family feel more relaxed and strengthened the mother’s confidence and independence at home.
