GRCC funded an immersive, day-long challenge for 40 students aged 10u201312 from seven Launceston schools to explore the city’s rich history in ways never experienced before, with the goal of encouraging talented young people to stay and contribute to the region.

Two separate Challenge Days were conducted with 40 students, 11 teachers, and 2 principals. The event generated 259 Facebook engagements from official school websites. The project promoted Launceston’s rich history and encouraged talented young citizens to remain in the region.
