How

George Town Neighbourhood House marked International Women’s Day with a community BBQ and an expo at the Memorial Hall. The event brought together local residents and stallholders including Interact, Launceston Community Legal Centre, Taxmania, Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, Carers TAS, Outer Cove Collective, Nebhub, Soroptimist and the Royal Flying Doctor Service. By combining food, information and community connection, the House created an accessible opportunity for people to meet services and celebrate women’s participation.
