George Town Neighbourhood House invited the community to a free International Women’s Day event at George Town Memorial Hall, featuring local women sharing their stories and experiences. The expo-style day connected attendees with local businesses and services, while free lunch and morning tea made it easier to drop in for part of the program. By creating a welcoming space for inspiration, information and connection, the House supported women’s participation and community belonging. The accompanying image provides event context.
