How

George Town Neighbourhood House supported Pride Coffee, a welcoming monthly gathering for LGBTQIA+ community members, their friends, family and allies. The relaxed coffee catch-up offered a safe and inclusive setting for people to meet, talk, share experiences and build supportive connections. Jo from Working It Out joined the session, adding an opportunity for conversation with a relevant community support representative. By providing a regular space where people could feel comfortable being themselves, the Neighbourhood House strengthened belonging and social connection.
