Hood Open Night Creates Social Space

How

George Town Neighbourhood House invited residents to its first Hood Open Night, offering an evening of darts, eight-ball, comedy, board games, cards, a movie, soup, toasties, the op shop and canteen. The event was designed as a relaxed space where people could eat, play and share ideas about future social programs. Dave Bailey was also scheduled to provide darts tips and potentially run a competition. By opening its doors for connection and community feedback, the Neighbourhood House encouraged residents to help shape an inclusive social space. Promotional images accompanied the invitation.
