At the Government House Open Day, Eat Well Tasmania helped families learn what was in season and how to cook with spring produce while visiting the gardens. Conversations about seasonal cooking, alongside the opportunity to enjoy a picnic among the plants, connected food education with a welcoming public event. The contribution made local growing and preparation visible to a broad community and gave people practical ideas for using Tasmanian produce at home.
