How

George Town Neighbourhood House promoted Footy Fest activities designed around children’s interest in football, encouraging young people to attend as many or as few activities as suited them. The event offered free, footy-themed recreation and was supported by Reclink Northern Tasmania, George Town Football Club, LaunchPads, Hawthorn Tasmania and AFL Tasmania, with Communities for Children Kanamaluka funding equipment.
