The Neighbourhood House celebrated its free 20-week Footy Fest program with a Brownlow dinner and recognition awards. Co-designed with Reclink and previous participants, the program gave children and parents activities ranging from footy golf and bingo to skills, drills, an Indigenous round, an MND round and a card-swap day. Weekly peer nominations recognised positive participation, while support from the George Town Footy Club, AFL Tasmania, Launchpad and an Anglicare Communities for Children grant helped strengthen the program.
