How

Eat Well Tasmania encouraged people to use food as a way to maintain relationships during isolation, recognising the contribution of producers who continued growing, selling and delivering fresh seasonal produce. The post reframed shared meals for a period when Sunday dinners and weekend brunches could not happen as usual, pointing to live cooking groups on Zoom and family dinners held through FaceTime as practical alternatives. By inviting people to exchange ideas about connecting through food, Eat Well Tasmania supported social wellbeing, creativity and a sense of community while reinforcing the role of local producers in sustaining everyday meals.
