George Town Neighbourhood House announced its first Hood Open Night as a dedicated evening for residents to play, eat, shop and connect. The program included eight-ball, darts, comedy, board games, cards, a movie, soup, toasties, the op shop and canteen. Scheduled at The Hood, the event offered varied activities so people could participate in different ways and spend relaxed time with their community. By creating a regular-style social opportunity beyond daytime services, the Neighbourhood House strengthened belonging and invited residents into a shared community space. A promotional image accompanied the announcement.
