Creating Pathways for Business Growth, Sales Capability and Local Leadership

Contribution Category: Employment Pathways, Sales Capability & Leadership Development

Location: Statewide – BNAA Member Businesses

Small business owners are required to be communicators, salespeople and leaders — often without formal training or structured support. BNAA provides practical, real-world pathways that help business owners develop these critical capabilities in a supportive, peer-based environment.

Through consistent participation in networking groups, members build confidence in sales conversations, learn how to articulate value clearly and develop ethical, relationship-focused approaches to growing revenue. These skills are reinforced through repetition, feedback and real-world application rather than high-pressure sales tactics.

Beyond business growth, BNAA fosters leadership. Members gain experience facilitating meetings, mentoring others, chairing discussions and representing their businesses publicly. These leadership skills frequently carry into broader community roles, including sporting clubs, not-for-profits and local organisations.

By strengthening communication, sales and leadership capability, BNAA supports the long-term viability of small businesses and helps ensure they remain active contributors to the economic and social fabric of their communities.
