How

George Town Neighbourhood House ran Cooking with Friends, a free weekly program where participants cooked, ate and shared the clean-up together. One session featured chicken fried rice with honey chicken and golden syrup dumplings, while limited numbers reflected the small kitchen and encouraged advance RSVP. The program supported shared skills, food enjoyment and social connection in a welcoming setting. The accompanying images showed the activity and meal.
