Through Cooking with Friends, the Neighbourhood House brought residents together to prepare chow mein and lamingtons using produce from its community garden. With only two spaces left, the session offered a practical and social cooking opportunity. Growing ingredients locally and sharing their preparation helped connect food, participation and community wellbeing in a friendly setting.
