The Neighbourhood House connected residents with Bec, a counsellor, author and lived-experience advocate, at its book giveaway and Hood Open Night. The conversations offered a safe place to learn about family and domestic violence, support someone affected, and discuss the petition concerning the 12-month limit on emotional and economic abuse. By creating opportunities to ask questions and find support, the House reinforced that people are not alone. The post featured a guest-speaker image.
