GRCC funded bus hire and interpreters for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) former refugees in Northern Tasmania to participate in Tasmanian society, attend planned events, and understand their new home.

The group has been active, running four trips with interpreters using the pro bono NRM van. Spring/Summer 2024 trips were planned to the Tamar Valley Peace Festival and other end-of-year events, connecting CALD community members to Tasmanian society and culture.
