The Neighbourhood House invited residents to join its Christmas Parade float, particularly people who had wished they had signed up earlier. Participants could wear an ugly Christmas sweater or receive help making one, then walk, wave and share festive cheer with the crowd. The invitation created an accessible way for community members to volunteer, participate and build connection through a shared local celebration. The post included a festive GIF.
