Food is one of the most powerful bridges between cultures — it opens conversations that formal integration programs often cannot. This initiative created genuine cross-cultural exchange by inviting residents to share the dishes, stories, and traditions tied to their heritage. Participants from established and newly arrived communities built real relationships around the table, reducing the social distance that can otherwise persist for years. The ripple effects are significant: increased empathy, reduced prejudice, and a community that is genuinely richer for its diversity.
