George Town Neighbourhood House offered freshly picked produce from its community garden for affordable purchase, with more available on request. The sale gave local people access to inexpensive, garden-grown food while supporting the garden’s ongoing use as a shared community resource. Promoted alongside the garden party, the opportunity connected food access, local participation and neighbourhood activity. The accompanying photographs show the produce available.
