The Neighbourhood House promoted a week of diverse services and activities: Centrelink support with Priscilla, Head to Health, Women’s Legal, a Launceston Community Legal Centre lawyer, Wellways Recovery, Anglicare Housing Connect, Salvation Army Streets to Home, Dementia Australia, an AGM, bingo, a free Friday barbecue and The Great Giveaway. Bringing these supports together helped residents access advice, health and social connection through one trusted community hub.
