George Town Neighbourhood House coordinated and promoted a full program of support, connection and practical activities. The week included mental-health support, Wellways recovery assistance, an interagency meeting, StandBy support after suicide, Wheels for Work, Housing Connect, cooking with friends, an Anglicare addiction specialist, an NDIS business session, social bingo and a DIY door-mat program. A community market also extended opportunities to meet and participate. This breadth of programming helps residents access services and build connection in one welcoming place.
