A letter from our Founder
CommitLocal exists because contribution has never had a home. Volunteering, giving, mentoring, coaching, showing up — all of it happens constantly, and almost none of it is recorded, recognised or connected. We built CommitLocal to change that: a platform that makes the invisible visible, so that today's contributions become tomorrow's legacy.
The CommitLocal Community Conference 2026 is the moment this platform steps into public view — in Launceston in October, and Hobart in November. It is not a two-day event. It is the public launch of a twelve-month participation movement.
We are not inviting organisations to sponsor an event. We are inviting them to help build the infrastructure that makes community contribution visible — for the first time, at scale, in a form that leadership teams, boards and governments can actually use.
