Our Community Presence

Tyreright St Leonards – keeping you rolling.

At Tyreright St Leonards, we’re proud to keep Tasmania moving safely. Located on St Leonards Road in the City of Launceston, we’re part of the trusted Tyreright national network, giving our customers the best of both worlds — local service backed by national buying power.

Our local team of 10 skilled Tasmanians brings decades of combined experience in tyre fitting, wheel alignment, and vehicle servicing. Being part of a national dealership means we can offer better access, wider availability, and competitive pricing — especially valuable for regional customers and local businesses that depend on reliable transport.

We’re more than just a tyre shop. We support the community by employing local people, sourcing locally where we can, and providing genuine service that customers can trust. Whether it’s a family car, a tradie’s ute, or a commercial fleet, we understand that keeping vehicles safe and on the road keeps our local economy rolling too.

At Tyreright St Leonards, we take pride in being part of both the national network that connects us and the local community that drives us.

Our Community Commitment

At Tyreright St Leonards, we believe that being local means giving back locally.
Our business supports 10 local jobs — from apprentices learning the trade to experienced technicians who’ve been keeping Tasmanian drivers safe for years. Every wheel we fit and every service we complete helps sustain families, skills, and confidence in our local community.

Because we’re part of a national dealership network, our customers benefit from national pricing, stock availability, and technology, while still enjoying the personal service and reliability of a local workshop. That combination matters, especially for regional areas, where access to quality tyres, fair prices, and dependable servicing keeps everyday life and business running smoothly.

We’re proud to help local businesses, farmers, tradies, and families stay on the road — safely and affordably. It’s our way of keeping Tasmania connected and contributing to the strength of the community we serve.

Every tyre matters — recycled responsibly through the national stewardship program

Our Environmental Commitment

We believe caring for the community also means caring for the environment.  Every tyre we remove is handled responsibly — we never send used tyres to landfill. Instead, we partner with accredited national recycling programs under the Tyre Product Stewardship Scheme (TPSS), ensuring that end-of-life tyres are collected and repurposed through approved recyclers.

These used tyres are recycled into materials for construction, playground surfaces, and road bases — giving them a second life instead of creating waste.

As part of the Tyreright national network, our St Leonards team is proud to play a role in reducing environmental impact while keeping Tasmanians safe on the road.

Every tyre recycled is one less in the environment — and another way we’re helping our community drive toward a cleaner, more sustainable future.
